According to a publication in the scientific edition Journal of the American Medical Association it may be given at least ten less known facts about sexual dysfunction.

And these facts that people may not know are:
1. 43 % of women in the world ever had sexual problems,

2. 31 % of men in the world had problems with sex in any period of their life,

3. About 10 % of women have never felt what orgasm is,

4. 2 of 3 women had painful sexual act at least once in their life,

5. Breast-feeding mothers often have insufficiently or completely missing moisture of vagina,

6. About 15 % of women with PMS (Premenstrual syndrome) have a decrease in their desire for sex,

7. In 65 to 85 % of the cases when women have problems with orgasm, they could be overcame due to sexual therapy,

8. About 22 % of women often have low desire for sex (compared to 5 % for men);

9. Approximately 21 % of men have premature ejaculation,

The level of androgen in women (this is the hormone which develops and maintains the masculine secondary sexual characters of man and it is the precursor of estrogen, the female sex hormone) falls by 50 % during and after menopause (and this doesn't necessarily mean reducing the desire for sex).

All these problems could be overcome by talking and understanding between couples, going to a doctor, starting a sexual therapy or by seraching for another method in books/Internet.
